Elinor Donahue | Age 83
Elinor Donahue was already tap dancing when she was just sixteen months old. She starred in the American sitcom Father Knows Best in the 1950s. The actress has had a larger than life career of over sixty years. She made her place in fan’s hearts with her roles in The Unfinished Dance and Love Is Better Than Ever.
Donahue has also written books like The Cat Who Read the Mail: Sixteen Amazing Stories about Our Mysterious Bond with Animals. She also released an autobiography In the Kitchen with Elinor Donahue for people to get a glimpse of her life.
Christopher Lloyd | Age 82
Most of you would recognize actor Christopher Lloyd for starring in the Back to the Future franchise. He was already quite famous when he appeared in the first installment of the franchise in 1985 because of his successful role in the series, Taxi.

His Taxi performance won him two Emmy Awards. Lloyd took care of his health over the years, and it’s why he’s still able to pursue new acting projects today. His IMDb page says he will appear in upcoming movies like Senior Moment and Time, the Fourth Dimension.
Billy Joel | Age 71
Billy Joel is the “Piano Man” and one of the most praised music artists in the U.S. At the age of 71, Joel has kept all of the musical talent and classy looks that have characterized his long career. He started in 1964 and hit it big with his classic 1973 album, titled… Piano Man!

Like most music artists, big or small, Joel’s career has been heavily affected by the lockdown in recent years. But fortunately, his much-anticipated Notre Dame Stadium concert is still on the horizon, and WNDU has recently announced it was rescheduled for 2022. Great news for all Joel die-hard fans!
Johnny Briggs | Age 85
You may not remember it, but Johnny Briggs was among the most prolific British actors back in the day. Having made his screen debut with a small role on Hue and Cry in 1947, Briggs didn’t become a household name until he landed Mike Baldwin’s role in Coronation Street. It’s safe to say that it was the role of a lifetime because he played it for three decades.

You’d think that someone from so far back in the day would’ve passed, but Briggs is alive and well. Today, he is 85 years old and is living his life in retirement. According to IMDb, his last appearance was on Doctors in 2009.
Cindy Williams | Age 73
Cindy was already fond of acting when she was only a child. She later majored in theater when she studied at the Los Angeles City College. She began acting professionally in the late ’60s, but she only rose to fame in 1976 when she started starring in Laverne & Shirley.

Williams is not as in-demand as she used to be, but she’s still able to land new roles from time to time. Her most recent one was in a 2020 film called Canaan Land. Also, in 2020, Williams appeared in a documentary called The Happy Days of Garry Marshall.
Shelley Long | age 71
Shelley Long is renowned for playing one of the main characters of the ensemble cast in the classic sitcoms Cheers. For her role as Dianne Chambers on the show, she earned five Emmy nominations, winning one for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She also won two Golden Globes.

Long reprised the Chambers role for three episodes in the Cheers spin-off Frasier, and more recently, he had a small recurring role in the series Modern Family. She also had various film roles in movies like Night Shift, Troop Beverly Hills (1989), and The Brady Bunch Movie and its Sequel. Long has an upcoming movie called The Cleaner.
Terry Kilburn | Age 93
Beginning his career at the age of 10, Kilburn, got child roles in classic films like A Christmas Carol and Goodbye. To make it big in Hollywood, he moved to the U.S. from his birthplace London. The dreamy doe-eyed star also starred in A Yank at Eton, Black Beauty, and National Velvet.

He went on to direct Oakland University’s Meadow Brook Theatre from 1970–1994 with his artistic flair. His last film role was in Lolita, portraying a small part in the movie. Currently, he peacefully lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Marla Gibbs | Age 89
Considering the average female life expectancy, you’d think that someone born in 1931 is long gone by now. Well, Marla Gibbs isn’t one to give up that easily—neither in life nor her work. Now aged 89, The Jeffersons star is very much active in her career, having appeared in One Day at a Time, The Last O.G., and She Ball in 2020 alone.

Furthermore, we can hope to see her in the upcoming productions: Alone Together, Orpheus Star, and HeadShop. Following her divorce from her high school sweetheart in 1973, Gibbs never remarried. We’re sure she could’ve if she wanted to because look at her at almost 90!
Jamie Farr | Age 86
Jamie Farr is an extremely skilled comedian and actor, still remembered for Maxwell Q. Klinger’s portrayal on M*A*S*H between 1972 and 1983. Now aged 86, he is the last surviving main cast member of the show. He is one of the oldest people in the American acting industry, having launched his career on Blackboard Jungle in 1955.

Most recently, Farr was noted for playing Dudley on The Cool Kids. However, we haven’t seen or heard much of him since his last appearance in 2019. Well, considering his age and $6 million net worth, you can’t be surprised if he wanted to take some time off and slow down.
Yvette Mimieux | Age 79
After a career of almost four decades, the beautiful actress Yvette Mimieux retired in 1992. She pursued acting after a suggestion from a talent manager, which obviously worked out for the best. At the beginning of her career, Mimieux was signed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, during which she appeared in The Time Machine and Where the Boys Are, among others.

Some of her other roles were in films like The Reward, Three in the Attic, The Picasso Summer, and The Delta Factor. Between her year of retirement and her current age of 79, Mimieux obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology, traveled the world, and began a real estate business, according to BiographyPedia.
Michael J. Fox | Age 59
The 59-year-old Michael J. Fox is a Canadian-American actor who was highly praised for his roles as Mart McFly, Alex P. Keaton, and Mike Flaherty in Back to the Future trilogy, Family Ties, and Spin City, respectively. Many were shocked to hear about his retirement in 2020 since he’s only 59.

For those of you who didn’t know, Fox has had Parkinson’s disease since the early ’90s. As he’d noticed his health deteriorating, Fox said goodbye to his career of over four decades. We’ll most likely get to see him on the screen one last time as Allen the Raven in The Beast, Heroes of the Wildfire.
Tina Turner | Age 81
While Elvis Presley is the King of rock and roll, Tina Turner is the Queen of rock and roll. Before enjoying a solo career, the Tennessee-born singer was first a member of Ike & Tina Turner. Her decision to solely pursue her musical endeavors proved to be advantageous as her hits have become influential.

Although she has retired, Turner hasn’t completely left the limelight. In 2018, she released an autobiography titled Tina Turner: My Love Story, the same year she lost her son, who took his own life. Now, fans of the 81-year-old got to see more of her in an HBO documentary released in March 2021.
Dan Aykroyd | Age 68
Don’t you love it when Saturday Night Live sketches turn into movies? The Canadian actor Dan Aykroyd got his start on the late-night comedy show and appeared alongside his friend/co-worker John Belushi in the SNL-inspired movie The Blues Brothers, released in 1980. Shortly after, he starred in Ghostbusters, which is undeniably the most iconic project of his filmography.

At the age of 68, Aykroyd isn’t as active in show business as he used to, but he’s been working on an upcoming Blues Brothers’ animation series. A proper businessman, Aykroyd owns the companies House of Blues (a chain of music venues) and Crystal Head (a vodka brand).
Rowan Atkinson | Age 66
It’s hard to believe that the English actor/comedian Rowan Atkinson is 66 already. To those who’ve accompanied his work as Mr. Bean, he will always remain the childlike figure that made us laugh so hard in the past. Known for his mostly-silent humor, a breath of fresh air in Britain’s comedy scene, Mr. Bean was a worldwide phenomenon that inspired kids and grown-ups alike.

But there’s more to Atkinson than Bean: he’s also a classy and talented stage/movie actor and a major automobile fan. In 2021, he sold his fully-restored 1964 vintage Ford Falcon for $77K in an auction.
Tommy Lee Jones | Age 74
Tommy Lee Jones is an experienced American actor/director, best known for his performances in the movies The Fugitive, Men in Black, and No Country For Old Men. Nominated for four Academy Awards, the 74-year-old is still a Hollywood casting favorite, and he’s often the number 1 choice to portray the bad guy.

In 2020, Lee Jones made it to The Comeback Trail, his most recent movie. The comedy/crime flick was directed by George Gallo and counted with a remarkable cast, which included the likes of Robert De Niro and Morgan Freeman, in addition to Lee Jones.
Jenny Jones | Age 74
The beautiful Jenny Jones was born in modern-day Palestine but made a name for herself as a Canadian-American TV host. Active in show business since 1974, Jones is mainly known for her talk show The Jenny Jones Show, which was on the air from 1991 to 2003.

Curiously enough, Jones tried her luck as a rock drummer and stand-up comedian before making it as a TV host. While we haven’t heard about her in a while, she’s been most recently busy with her philanthropic work, establishing the “Jenny’s Heroes” program in 2008.
Al Green | Age 75
America is the land of the Soul, and even though Al Green is just one amongst many talented soulful singers of the ’70s, his songs are unforgettable. Even if you don’t recognize Green’s name, you certainly know how to hum one of his tunes: he released songs as iconic as “Let’s Stay Together,” “Take Me to the River,” and “Love and Happiness.”

In 2010, Rolling Stone magazine named him the 14th Greatest Singer of All-Time. Still active today, Green celebrated his 75th birthday on April 13 and has recently made headlines for promoting vaccination. He did so with the good mood and big smile he’s always accustomed us to.
Jerry Kramer | Age 85
While Jerry Kramer has kept busy during his retirement years, working as an author and sports commentator, his legacy was mostly built on the NFL pitch. He played as an offensive lineman for the Green Bay Packers for 11 years, making a name for himself as Pro Football Hall of Famer. He was selected to the Hall of Fame in 2018 after being a finalist on 10 occasions.

We expect to hear a lot about Kramer soon, especially considering a documentary about his life is being produced. It’s called You Can, If You Will – The Jerry Kramer Story and was funded on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
Sue Ane Langdon | Age 84
Sue Ane Langdon was initially a stage actress and a Radio City Music Hall singer. She had a notable role in the Broadway production of The Apple Tree, and she later became a famous movie star through her roles in The Rounders, The Cheyenne Social Club, and A Guide for the Married Man.

For her performance in the show called Arnie during the early ’70s, she took home the Best Supporting Actress award at the Golden Globe Awards. Langdon has been enjoying her retirement since the ’90s, and her last on-screen appearance was in Zapped Again!.
Barbara Mandrell | Age 72
Barbara Mandrell was a thriving country star in the ’70s and ’80s. Songs like Sleeping Single in a Double Bed and I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool brought her a tremendous amount of fame. Mandrell had to slow down in her career during the ’80s because of a car crash.

She eventually retired by 1997, and it looks like she has been treasuring all the privacy and free time she has been getting. Mandrell might not be releasing a new album anymore, but she released a compilation album in 2020 titled After All These Years: The Collection.
Loretta Lynn | Age 88
Loretta Lynn isn’t your typical 88-year-old because she continues to be fabulous with her outfits, hairdo, and makeup. She became a big name in the music scene during the ’60s thanks to hits like Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind) and You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man).

She received eighteen Grammy Award nominations in her career, winning three in total. Lynn had several hospital visits in recent years due to a broken hip and stroke, but she fully recovered. She isn’t done with her career, and, in 2021, she will release a new album titled Still Woman Enough.
June Brown | Age 93
June Brown is renowned for her long-standing role as Dot Cotton in the British soap EastEnders. She plated the role for a total; of 21 years across two stints and picked up numerous awards, including the British Soap Awards and a BAFTA Award.

Brown was also awarded an MBE for her service to drama and charity. Besides EastEnders, Brown had a small role in the other major British soap Coronation Street and also had roles in the 1985 film Oliver Twist and 1997s Bean. She decided to step down from her role as Dot Cotton in February 2020.
Paul Michael Glaser | Age 77
Paul Michael Glaser made his name as detective Dave Starsky in the popular ’70s buddy cop comedy Starsky and Hutch. He gained unprecedented fame as the hard, trigger happy former army man, and even after Ben Stiller played the character in a film, he’s still recognized as the character.

He also landed some film roles, including a supporting role in The Running Man with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Something’s Got To Give with Diane Keaton. He also had a role as Captain Jack Steeper on the early noughties series Third Watch. In 2020 he made an appearance as himself in the show The Hollywood Moment at Home Edition 2020.
Sally Field | Age 74
Sally Field started her career in 1962 at the age of 16. But it’s hard to believe that she’s aged 58 years since she still looks… well… sweet 16. Her youthful appearance is most likely down to her moisturizing twice a day and also protecting her skin from the sun.

Her big break came in the series Gidget as a surfer girl with a taste for boys. But she showed her talent with roles in roles in Norma Rae and Place In The Heart, winning two Oscars them. She also won an Emmy for the mini-series Sybil. She had a major role in the 2020 series Dispatches from Elsewhere.
Barbra Streisand | Age 78
Barbra Streisand had a meteoric rise to fame, earning an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony) in the space of six years. This also made the acclaimed singer, songwriter, and actress the youngest and fastest recipient of the achievement, winning her final award at the age of 26.

Her most notable film roles include the original A Star Is Born, and she has also released 36 studio albums that sold over 68 million copies. Her most acclaimed studio album is the self-titled Album in 1963, which won her three Grammy Awards. Streisand will make appearances in two upcoming documentaries, including Bella! and Live at Mister Kelly’s.
John Cleese | Age 81
John Cleese is simply a legend of the British film and comedy scene. He is the founder of Monty Python, the company behind the comedy sketch show Monty Python’s Flying Circus, and a string of films, including The Holy Grail, Life Of Brian, and The Meaning Of Life.

But he also had starring roles away from that production, including the hit series Fawlty Towers, where he played Basil Fawlty and won a BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance. Cleese had a turn in Hollywood, too, notably in the films A Fish Called Wanda and Fierce Creatures. He has a voice role in the animated movie Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Diana Ross | Age 76
Diana Ross is not just one of the most iconic singers out there, but also one of the most successful hit-making singers in music history. She did it with the Supremes, becoming Mowton’s most successful act in the ’60s and the best charting female group of all time with 12 number one singles.

Ross released even more big hits as a solo act, including Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Touch Me in the Morning, Upside Down, and Endless Love. She also dabbled in acting, earning a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination for the film Lady Sings the Blues. In 2020 Ross released a remix album called Supertonic: Mixes.
Lucy Lawless | Age 52
Lucy Lawless is a New Zealand actress and singer who gained fame for her role in the hit show Xena: Warrior Princess. She starred as the lead from 1995 to 2001 and built a high profile that helped her land jobs in series like Battlestar Galactica as D’Anna Biers, among others.

In the 2010s, she was in Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Lucretia, the wife of Spartacus’s master Lentulus Batiatus. Lawless also dabbled in music, and after featuring in the show Celebrity Duets, she performed two sold-out shows at the 500 seater Roxy in Hollywood. She is set for a voice role in Minions: The Rise of Gru.
Kevin Sorbo | Age 62
Kevin Sorbo gained fame in the live-action series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as the title character. This role gave him international fame and also led to various TV movies based on the series. It also led to other notable roles, in particular as Captain Dylan Hunt in Andromeda.

Besides his work on series, he also has a few Christian films under his belt, such as God’s Not Dead and Let There Be Light. But after Hercules, he mostly had roles in straight-to-video films like the sequels to The Rundown. Sorbo has a movie coming out in 2021 called Trail Blazer.
Eva Marie Saint | Age 96
Eva Marie Saint spent more than seven decades building her acting portfolio. She first caught people’s attention through her performances in movies like On the Waterfront and A Hatful of Rain. Saint then won a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance in the People Like Us miniseries.

At 96 years old, Saint isn’t as active as she used to be, but she still hasn’t fully retired yet. She appeared in a movie called Mariette in Ecstasy in 2019, and sources say she’s part of an upcoming documentary by Budd Schulberg.
Jimmy Lydon | Age 97
Jimmy Lydon stumbled onto acting as a last resort during his youth. His father, an alcoholic, decided to retire from working to be a full-time drinker… right in the middle of the great depression. The family scrambled for work, and Jimmy, unable to find anything, chose acting.

He got several roles in minor plays, fabricating a CV to get auditions. Lydon learned to act on the go and eventually landed his first film role in Tom Brown’s School Days, which was well-received by critics. He went on to have a distinguished career but was last seen on Screen in the 2004 documentary Edgar G. Ulmer: The Man Off-Screen.
Caren Marsh-Doll | Age 101
Caren Marsh Doll is another centenary on the list. She had a brief career in film and is most notable for playing small roles in Metro Goldwyn Meyer productions. One of these small roles included a walk-on part in the classic film Gone With The Wind.

She wasn’t all about small roles and had some starring roles in films like That Night in Rio, Wild Harvest, Best Foot Forward, and Night and Day. Doll decided to leave the industry in 1948 and become a full-time dancer and dance instructor. She famously got hired as the dance stand-in for Judy Garland in The Wizard Of Oz.
Jane Powell | Age 91
Jane Powell got into the performing arts early in her life, taking dancing lessons when she was two years old, and at around five, she was taking singing lessons to round out her performing skills. Thanks to her all-around talent, she won many competitions and, ultimately, a contract with MGM.

She grabbed the opportunity and never looked back. Besides her early film roles with MGM, she also performed in theatre, radio, and TV. Some of her major early films include Three Daring Daughters and the lead in A Date With Judy, opposite her friend Elizabeth Taylor. Powell retired from acting in 2004.
Gloria Henry | Age 97
Gloria Henry gained fame as Alice Mitchell. Who is that? Well, just mother to one of the most famous child characters created: Dennis Mitchell of Dennis The Menace, the TV series based on a comic strip with the same title. The show ran from 1959 to 1963 and was the magnum opus for all of its lead characters.

Things eventually slowed down for Henry after the show ended, and she blamed this on being typecast as a mother character. She continued to have small roles and also had a minor return to film in the 2005 movie Her Minor Thing. She last made an appearance in Parks and Recreation in 2012.
Dolores Hart | Age 82
Both of Dolores Hart’s parents worked in the acting industry. So it’s safe to say that she was born for the profession. So she eventually got into it herself, making her debut opposite Elvis Presley in a Film called Loving You. Hart went on to make ten movies in five years.

But just as she was being touted as a leading lady, Hart shocked the film industry by ending her career to become a nun. She joined the Abbey Of Regina Laudis Monastery, one of the first nun houses in the United States. Hart still made an appearance as herself in the documentary The seven ages of Elvis in 2017.
Eileen Atkins | Age 86
Eileen Atkins is a prime example of the fact that, while they seem invincible, celebrities are human too. Atkins was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 1995 but, being a strong person and never giving up, she overcame it and continued to build her career.

Part of that career includes BAFTA awards, Emmy Awards, and Olivier Awards, among others, for roles in Oliver Twist and series Cranford. She also had a hand in creating the successful ITV show Upstairs and Downstairs. Atkins is still active, too, and had a role in the 2020 dramatic comedy 4000 Miles as Vera.
Cara Williams | Age 95
Cara Williams is another actress whose career flame burned bright but short. She came like a whirlwind in the ’50s, starring in films like The Great Diamond Robbery and The Defiant ones. She earned an Oscar nomination for the latter, and she also earned an Emmy nomination for her role in Pete and Gladys, as the title sharing Gladys Porter.

But she did her last film in 1978, retiring to become an interior designer. She had a turbulent personal life with two failed marriages but spent a large part of her life married to entrepreneur Asher Dan. They were married from 1964 until he died in 2018.
Dean Stockwell | Age 84
Dean Stockwell was a child star signed to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer during the ’40s. His first few notables roles were in movies like The Green Year and Anchors Aweigh. By the late ’50s, he was also doing stage work and had a starring role in Compulsion’s Broadway production.

Stockwell’s acting career doesn’t generate earnings for him anymore since he retired in recent years. It seems like he decided to stop after experiencing a stroke in 2015. His final role was in the movie called Entertainment. His IMDb page says he will appear in the upcoming documentary called The Jack Richard Smith Documentary: A Portrait of an Artist.
Ann Blyth | Age 92
Ann Blyth knew that she wanted to become a star at a young age, and it’s why she joined children’s radio shows during her childhood. She transitioned to Broadway roles in the early ’40s, giving a career-launching performance in the play called Watch on the Rhine.

In the mid-’40s, she won more people over when she starred in the movie titled Mildred Place. Her performance got her an Academy Award nomination. Blyth entered retirement by the ’90s and focused on raising her five children. Her last role was on an episode of Murder, She Wrote.
Norman Lloyd | Age 106
Norman Lloyd is one of the most respected actors and directors in Hollywood and counts Orson Welles and Alfred Hitchcock as people he’s worked with. He was also friends with Charlie Chaplin and worked in many different factions of the industry, including radio, theatre, films, and television.

Hitchcock gave Lloyd, who started in 1928, his break in the 1942 film Saboteur. It was also Hitchcock who gave him opportunities after his career was curtailed by the Hollywood blacklist, asking for his production and direction expertise. Lloyd is set to appear in a documentary called Hearing Voices: Modulating a Revolution.
Charlotte Rampling | Age 74
Charlotte Rampling made waves in the modeling industry, and her success later turned her into a fashion icon. She also gave acting a try, and her breakthrough performances were in movies like Farewell, My Lovely, and The Verdict. Rampling’s now 74, and we can all agree that she aged like wine.

She’s still at a significant point in her career today, and she even won awards for her roles in 45 Years and Hannah. According to her IMDb page, Rampling will star in two new movies called Benedetta and Dune.
Robert Fuller | Age 87
Most people would remember Robert Fuller for the years he spent appearing on Western shows. Among his most notable roles were in Wagon Train and Laramie. By the ’70s, his fanbase got even bigger because of his famous role in the series called Emergency!.

He didn’t have any severe vices over the years, and taking care of his well-being allowed him to live a long healthy life. Fuller isn’t active anymore now that he’s 87, but he has a fantastic career to look back at. His last role was in the series called Walker, Texas Ranger.
Hal Holbrook | Age 95
While Hal Holbrook was still a student at Denison University, he caught people’s attention through his performance as Mark Twain in a one-man play titled Mark Twain Tonight!. His portrayal won him the Best Actor award at the Tony Awards.

He later got into mainstream acting and gained fame for starring in All the President’s Men. Holbrook isn’t as busy as he used to be, but he hasn’t closed doors in his acting career yet. His IMDb page says he will appear in a new film titled The Secrets We Share.
Queen Elizabeth II | Age 94
Queen Elizabeth II is the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom. Her parents are King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and she ended up ascending to the throne after her father passed away in 1952. Fast forward to today, she’s the longest-reigning monarch in British history.

She’s married to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and they have four children together. Their eldest son, Prince Charles, will be taking over the throne when she’s gone. The Queen undeniably got blessed with long life, and she will be celebrating her Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
Jackie Mason | Age 92
Jackie Mason is among the most notable stand-up comedians in the world. He rose to fame in the late ’80s thanks to The World According to Me, his own one-man show. His performance was so incredible that he won an Emmy Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, and a special Tony Award.

He later followed it up with another successful and award-winning project, his Jackie Mason on Broadway special. Mason doesn’t act much anymore, but he still earns money from voice acting. He has been the voice behind Rabbi Hyman Krustofski in The Simpsons in recent years.
Jacqueline White | Age 98
Jacqueline White had drama classes when she was still studying at the University of California, Los Angeles. She ended up catching the attention of a casting director when she starred in a production of Ah, Wilderness!. It led to a screen test, and then she made her movie debut in 1944’s Song of Russia.

She later bagged notable roles in movies like The Narrow Margin and Crossfire. White is now 98 years old, and she had been retired for decades. She chose to stop acting so she can raise a family. Her last acting gig was her role in The Narrow Margin.
Beverly Cleary | Age 104
Beverly Cleary made a name for herself as a writer, and her novels mostly focused on young adult fiction and children’s stories. People consider her to be one of the most successful authors in the United States, and her sales surpassed 90 million already.

She’s well-known for creating iconic characters like Henry Hugging, Ramona Quimby, and Beezus Quimby. Cleary notably won awards for Dear Mr. Henshaw and Ramona and Her Mother. Cleary is still alive at 104 years old, and she reportedly lives in a retirement home in Carmel Valley, California.
Robert Clary | Age 94
