According to a 2015 article from psychologytoday.com, women probably identify more gradations in hues than men. It is therefore also known that women have a more extensive color vocabulary. Could that be why a hardware store put up this sign for customers?

It turns out that’s not it. When a Facebook page titled “KUBE 93.3” posted this picture, a woman was swift to comment on it, saying that she worked in the paints department, and men who came to buy them would usually double-check with their wives at home to confirm the shade of a color that needs to be purchased.
